Soaking nuts to make your own almond milk requires a little thought in advance but provides a protein addition to a quick and easy shake
Ingredients
- 2ozs almonds
- 1 banana
- 2 dessertspoons carob powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Soak the almonds overnight in water. Next morning drain and rinse and place in the bottom of a liquidiser. Add the banana, cinnamon and carob and 300ml of water and liquidise till smooth.
